trading - everything new is well forgotten old?

For our ancestors ages ago trading was something that they couldn't imagine living without. Their survival depended on that. 

In nowadays this personal trading is substituted by money. It's not a bad thing. Money makes this process a lot more easier.

But is trading forgotten and lost forever? No!! It's just taken a different shape and look. 

I do trading. I have traded several times with people from different crafting fields through Etsy. I do crochet but I don't do a lot of other things therefor it's just fantastic if you can find a person who can do the thing you can't  and on the contrary, and.. trade! 100% handmade for both of us!

One of my last trade was with Kathy Davenport. 

Kathy is a very talented artist who makes handmade little paintings in a shape of barrettes:

In our trade I received these two beauties while Kathy received two custom made crochet bead bracelets. We are both happy and satisfied and as a bonus for trading - a new acquaintance has been made.
